Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump want to...

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump want to raise your taxes.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump want to watch transgenders have forcible sex with your children.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would allow Zelenskyy to continue to ransack our wallets.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump want criminals running the streets of every major city in America.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would ever pack the Supreme Court with liberals.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would ever allow Critical Race Theory or DEI to spread through our government like a cancer.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would allow someone like Rachel Levine to be in our government in any way, shape or form.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump want unlimited and unrestricted abortion to be the law of the land.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would have ever withdrawn from Afghanistan in such a disastrous way like Biden did.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump would allow unchecked illegal immigration to continue in the manner that it is, which is destroying the very fabric of American society.

Both Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump would be better than Biden.

Younger than Biden.

Healthier than Biden.

Less SENILE than Biden.

MORE HONEST than Biden.

So let’s have our primary debates and support whoever we are supporting but do so without ripping apart our movement to the point that we cannot get back together.

In the past two days we’ve witnessed absolute warfare within our own party and that’s just way too much.

Our true enemy is Joe Biden and the people who support him.

Our true enemy are the Democrats in Congress who would pass laws that would make thinking like us punishable by death if they could do it.

Our true enemy are the people who openly call conservatives the enemies of America.

Let’s focus on the true enemies of America.

They are called the Democrats.

Neither Ron DeSantis nor Donald Trump are the enemies. Keep focused! Keep united!

I don’t and here is why.

1. Gov DeSantis is my gov and he has been very good. The state reelected him and we are still recovering from Ian and Nicole. He needs to stay and continue overseeing the recovery.

2. Even with one above considered, I’d still look favorably on him but for his big money donors. They are all establishment uni party types. Gov DeSantis has been asked to denounce the Bushes, Romney, Paul Ryan and hasnt. I’ve written to him and to the state GOP. No response.

3. You can’t tell me how Ron DeSantis would govern because he is owned by the establishment. He had a chance to openly denounce one of his Pacs that the Gateway Pundit wrote about right after Trumps CNN town hall. He didn’t renounce the Pac, their assertions or even denounce Jim Hofts column.

For my political stance I’ve been called Ever Trumper, a cultist, and other insults. So once again please allow me to make my position clear:

I’m voting for Trump because of what he accomplished in his first term, under horrendous conditions. I KNOW that Donald Trump is America First in every way shape and form. I’m America First in the same way from energy, economy, to global peace, to border wall. I don’t give a rats behind about mean tweets or lack of presidential decorum. God worked with extremely flawed men and women throughout the Bible to bring about His will. Trump is flawed too, but he has a proven record that I can trust.

I can’t say that Gov DeSantis with any certainty would govern in DC with America First, and neither can you because of the money backing his bid and their politics. it will be THEIR agenda pushed through not America First.

Lastly I’m done voting for establishment GOP or whatever you call them from uni party to Deep State to RINOs. Our country is on a downward spiral. I refuse to vote for the LESSER of two evils just to slow the decline. I’m done. And so are a few people in DC if the Speaker vote is any indication. Kevin McCarthy, under the old way of doing things, should have gotten speaker on the first vote. Not after more than what, 15 votes and a high number of concessions.

Flame away, insult or ignore. Its your call.

But we are constantly told that polls don’t matter. Do they matter?

To the extent they are designed to form public opinion not reveal it, yeah.

Let’s focus on the true enemies of America. They are called the Democrats.

And those that help them, no matter what party they are registered in.

The RINOs will gladly stay home if they don’t get their way.

Or they show their true color and vote for the Democrat as many did in both Trump elections. Not only did they do that they bragged about it.

I can't find a single positive post that you've made.

Posting here is only slightly more useful than screaming at the TV, because it doesn't annoy the wife as much.

It’s possible to point out your opponents weaknesses and shortcomings without being a complete jack-wagon. FReepers and people need to relearn this.
And the “I’ll never vote for so-and-so” crap is pure retardation. Idiocy of the highest level. Just drop out and don’t even comment on politics ever again if you’re going to go full retard.

Would you have the same response if that list were directed at Congress?

Yes.

I will always prefer a Republican congress over a Democrat congress.

I don't subscribe to the pipe dream that says, "We have to burn the whole system down and from the ashes, a new "Patriot Party" will emerge.

This is a pipe dream.

Republicans will always be better than Democrats. Mitt Romney would've been better that Barack Obama. So would've John McCain.

Trump will be better than Biden, as will DeSantis.

We've already seen what happens when we hand total control over to the Left. There was no magical Phoenix that emerged from the ashes. Only destruction.

The thing that amazes me for people 100% devoted to Trump is how much they were able to justify in order to vote for him in 2016 that they now use to never vote for DeSantis

Trump donated consistently to Democrats as a private citizen including Bill and Hillary Clinton, has DeSantis ever done that

Trump had no legislative track record before getting elected, DeSantis has a very solid conservative track record

I could go on and on about things people use to justify never voting for DeSantis but easily justify for Trump

Earlier today on FR an article about Trump and DeSantis are not our enemies, the Democrats are and we should not fight each other, many including myself said they would be happy voting for Trump or DeSantis because they just wanted to win, amazingly many of the diehard Trump supporters were adamant about never voting for DeSantis under any circumstances

Hopefully that is an incredibly small percentage of people because the Democrats win in that scenario

As for me and what I hoped I stressed isn’t how Gov DeSantiss is governing in FL. Its who NOW controls him because of big money donations. And that is establishment GOP or Uni party or RINOS whatever. Trump did all you have claimed as far as dems and Clintons were concerned. But he Governed as President an American First agenda. I do NOT believe that DeSantis will be able to govern as anything but establishment GOP due to the money behind him.

Perhaps you disagree. That is your call. I’d certainly feel more amenable toward him if he denounced the Bushes, Runs at all and didn’t use their money. However, that hasn’t happened because he needs it obviously. So all he is, is controlled opposition to Trump. And I’m done giving my precious vote away to that.We talk as if the dems are this evil opponent. I would put it to you that the GOP establishment is a far worse demon.

Like I said previously, Trump’s history before he ran was anything but conservative, in fact he was a basic NY liberal, supporting any number of Democrats like Hillary Clinton.

DeSantis previously was in the Freedom Caucus in Congress, has been anything but Establishment Republican as Governor of Florida, somehow now he’s the enemy, it makes no logical sense.

Loving Trump is not the issue, some of the criticisms of DeSantis are unwarranted, he’s not the charismatic personality Trump is, he doesn’t have the ability to stir up the crowd that Trump can, he’s not a billionaire so he needs money to run for POTUS, like everyone else but Trump.

Less than a year ago and all during Covid, DeSantis was universally praised here on FR as a future candidate for POTUS, now that he is, he’s a traitor.

Finally, regardless of the outcome of the coming election, Trump will be finished, either he will get his 4 year or he will lose, no one man can turn the country around in 4 years, after Trump what then, is there anyone out there similar to Trump that could become POTUS, we need long term consistent conservative leadership, Trump has shown that leadership, so has DeSantis IMO, we can’t afford to be discarding anyone, no one is perfect.

You didn’t read my post. Its not a cult of personality or historical behavior patterns.

What I’m saying very strongly is if you believe DeSantis will govern like the Freedom caucus you are setting yourself up for a big let down. Why? Because it is who and whose money is backing him now. He is in effect owned by GOP establishment. He will govern with their agenda not anything good for the country with the exception of a few token tidbits thrown to the masses here and there. I wrote to the Gov and to the state GOP asking them both to renounce Jim Hoft and the Gateway Pundit article highlighting the big Pac supporting DeSantiss. Crickets.

Sadly and I take no pleasure in writing this as I’d Previously hoped to see a trump desantis ticket and then desantiss. But your candidate sold himself to the GOP establishment. Follow the money.

I did read your post, it’s not about a cult of personality, it’s about how screwed up this country and if Trump is really the only person who can make changes, then the country is already gone.

As to being let down based on how DeSantis might govern, how will Trump govern in a 2nd term, what is the likelihood he will have a Republican House and Senate for the entire 4 years, even if he does will they go along with him, what are the odds of a Democratic house and senate, meaning Trump will have to govern using executive orders, which will all get overturned the first day of any new Democratic Administration, just like Biden did on his first day in office.

If you hold to that opinion, then you need to become a Prepper big time, if you aren’t already, because the country if your world is already gone.

How many politicians can self-fund a Presidential campaign, even Trump is not self-funding, as I mentioned this will be Trump’s last election regardless of the outcome.

Its the money behind DeSantiss. And under horrendous conditions, while fighting two impeachment trials, Trump governed America First.

I’m not saying your view of things is right or wrong. I do believe we see things very differently. And yes, this country is on a trajectory to self destruction. Both culturally and economically. I see NO establishment GOP fighting back. Its the MTG or Matt Goetz standing up and they are both pummeled at every turn.

So we must agree to disagree. As for prepping. Not into that. But am into the alternate conservative businesses popping up on Public Square.

Unless someone is truly a billionaire and can self-fund, there will always be big money behind a candidate, Trump himself is not truly self-funding.

As for governing America First.

Trump’s last legacy is the Federal Courts and specifically the Supreme Court, how did that happen ??

It happened because he had a Republican Senate all 4 years, led by Mitch McConnell who Conservatives love to hate for good reason, it was who Trump had to work with, that will always be the case regardless of who the President is.

Specifically, Trump’s Agenda, what’s left of it ??

Border Wall - killed on Day One under Biden
Tremendous Regulatory Reform - Completely redone by Biden.
Immigration Reform - never got passed despite a Republican Congress for 2 years.
Tax Cuts - Wiped out with other taxes passed by Biden

The point is, no President can have lasting impact without working with the House and Senate.
