Add $20/night/room to the lodging tax after the first night.

That would come to about $7,000 per year per room for long-term occupation.

Use the money to fund schools for their increased educational costs.

In NY, per pupil spending is 20k/student, so the 7k covers 1/3 of the cost. Add to that the increased medicaid taxes on county taxpayers for their healthcare. And then add a few more tens of thousands for other welfare benefits. This is just another tax on middle Americans and it is destroying our culture and we pay for it.
