Bingo. While it’s absurd for an officer to be able to just, unilaterally, label a song a ‘protest’ and shut it down, it’s another thing entirely to assume the authority to shut them down even if it were a protest.

Yes. And sooner or later someone has got to grok the absurdity of this sort of thing and draw the line ON THE SPOT and make these lunatics back their judgment. Call it keyboard courage if you want but my word to God Almighty and Jesus His Son I believe if I’d brought those kids there they’d have finished their program and I’d have been right there belting at the top of my voice.
