Peggy Noonan may be right — and let's hope she is: What she fears about a Trump victory in 2024 is what every true American should be celebrating

On Monday, David Zukerman wrote a good piece about Peggy Noonan and her WSJ editorial concerning former President Donald Trump.  Noonan argues that electing Donald Trump again would destroy the Republican Party.  Peggy may be right, and I hope she is.

Trump's success in 2016 was, in large part, due to the way that he took the mechanisms of the Republican political machine and used them to secure victory. He ran a third-party-style campaign within the structure of the Republican Party. The "party" as a corporate entity was against him, but grassroots Republicans in name and philosophy were all in for candidate Donald Trump. The "party" has never forgiven him for that.

The Republican establishment is not MAGA. Instead, MAGA is a creation of President Trump and his supporters. The Republicans in Washington work in a feigned conflict with Democrats that leads to a power structure that always gets what it wants. Both parties have a few people who try to push the limits for change, but the establishment always wins. Washington insiders build their power, the government gets larger, and the ranks of government employees grow. The country outside Washington pays the bills.

One of President Trump's political failures was that he did not secure the reins of the Republican political entity when he had the chance as the head of the party. He allowed the establishment Republicans to maintain control of the political organization, and the Republican establishment joined with others to harm his presidency and prevent his securing a second term.

President Trump is correctly criticized for the poor record he has with appointing subordinates who ended up working against him and hurting him politically. The Republican establishment was at the center of this failure.

Trump trusted the Republican establishment to suggest people to work in the administration, and the establishment used this trust to install people more interested in maintaining the Washington power structure than making the country great again.

Save the Republican Party for what, exactly, Ms. Noonan?

Only the Soviets and Democrats care more about the party survival than the people they’re actually trying to serve.

The GOP is already dead. It just doesn’t know it yet.

The Republican Party is “Federalist Party 3.0”, and badly in need of a reboot.

GOPe hated the Tea Party, too. We’re still here just in another form. True to the US Constitution, Individual Liberties, Economic Freedom and Individual Responsibility. they can’t get rid of us. We do not make good Slaves.
Mike Pence said to avoid ‘Populism’. What does he think ‘populism’ is but the citizens rather than the government running this country?

To quote a fable, often used by Trump, “You knew I was a snake when you took me in.”

It was a great article except for the one thing that other articles like this also do...They keep talking about how Trump was betrayed by the Swamp appointments he made as president and how in his next term he must not work with RINOs.

These articles all ignore the elephant in the room.

There is not going to be any next term for Trump as long as cheat-by-mail-in ballots with no signature verification are in widespread use. Look what happened to Kari Lake. They took over a week to slow-walk the count and all of those mail-ins were just clicked through without any verification. Plus the way the machines were sabotaged. She documents all of this on her Twitter. It was brazen and in-your-face, and the national media refuses to report any of it except when Kari loses her lower court cases to a Democrat hack of a judge. The RINOs are just fine and dandy with cheating when MAGA loses, even though a Democrat 'wins.'

If these cheat-by-mail-ins are still in operation in 2024 (and the state legislatures have done nothing to get rid them) then we are going to see a repeat of what happened to Trump in 2020. The counting will be simultaneously stopped on Election Night, and after nearly a week, the mail-ins will give it to the Democrat.

This a really well-stated. Of course, over time we saw the Empire strike back against Trump.

And, even today, we see “The Left” saying being racist is due to identifying as a “MAGA Republican”.

So, stop identifying as Republican or even MAGA Republican.
Identify as an American.
Remove identification from your voter registration [I suggest Green Party].
Stop giving money to any “PARTY”; direct support of a your candidate is best, regardless of party [I suggest giving NO money tp political parasites].

You’ll never called a politically allied “racist” again...unless you are white.
Cuz, you white...cracker.

And, ostensibly, all we have to do is STOP being MAGA fanbois (outside of the rallies).
No individual identity correlation
