The other day, Joe Biden ended a big gun-control speech in Connecticut with the words, “God save the queen, man.” Why did the president express adoration for the departed Brit monarch? Was he confused about royal succession? Is he a Sex Pistols fan? Who knows.
When asked about the incident, White House aides offered nonsensical and conflicting answers — because they have absolutely no idea, and neither does the president. It’s likely that the octogenarian spontaneously used a cool-sounding phrase, much like when your elderly neighbor tells you to “keep on truckin,'” for no apparent reason. It happens.
Yet, Axios writer Alex Thompson points out that Biden “has an arsenal of wacky phrases.” And the president’s “quirky aphorisms,” he contends, “are sometimes weaponized by Republicans to insinuate the 80-year-old president is in mental decline.”
There is no need for insinuation. Biden’s mental acuity, never impressive, has considerably deteriorated. Sure, he also tends to botch “old-timey” sayings like, “lots of luck in your senior year,” which he says is a gibe from his Corn Pop days. But most reporters who pretend perceptions of Biden’s decline are due to his propensity for homespun maxims or previously unknown stuttering problems almost surely wouldn’t find him fit enough to babysit their kids.

Never has been. He conducts himself no differently today, than 40 years ago. Just a little slower, liver spots, and an early bed time. Same horribly below average intellect in a super-sized ego.
He’ll be dead and out of office before they get around to charging him. Right now I think they are likely trying to figure out the best timing to let him resign—early in campaign, before the convention, or after. If after, DNC leadership pick the nominee. Guess they hold out as long as possible to prevent a meaningful primary season.

He also said "dog-faced pony soldier" again, so his brain is running on retro right now.
My guess is that he meant to say his usual closer "God Bless the United States" but it came out twisted by recent events.

Joe Biden is not OK. Well, sure.
But here’s the thing. Biden has a strong name recognition. And the Deep State is quite happy with him. He will sign anything they tell him to.

I can’t remember which impeachable scandal the media didn’t want to cover that day. My guess Biden was given this written line to say to give talking heads something to ponder and defend so they would not wander into breaking news.
I lean to the idea that teleprompter text is sly humor, making a fool of Ol’ Joe and daring anyone to do anything about his dementia. They’re laughing all the way at McConnell, McCarthy, et al, and laughing at the cuckhold MSM.

He always was an ass, and corrupt, but he was quick witted and was able to construct complex sentences etc.
IMHO, when he went under the knife TWICE, with folks digging through his brain, he never quite was the same afterward. Just listen to him talk pre and post surgery.

Biden will not be charged with anything serious unless the Deep State wishes it. And at this point, I don’t see any reason for the Deep State to think that way. Biden is compliant. And the GOP is in disarray.

Yeah, no. That would take a high degree of self-awareness, intelligence, guile, agility, creativity, and discipline to pull that off - most all of which he does not possess. More obviously, he's content with nearly 50 years of his habitual hubris, smugness in his "act", and confident of those now protecting him. The dementia is simply the madness that's been cultivated from both his career and personal sins of evil, coupled with a low and rapidly decrepit IQ.
