South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott is getting the attention of Republican primary voters.
He gets support from just 3% of Republicans as their first choice in the GOP presidential primary, according to the latest national NBC News poll. But that's just part of the picture: The number of GOP voters who see Scott as their second-choice candidate has risen sharply — more than any other Republican candidate polled by NBC News from April to June.
In June, 12% of those polled said the same, a 9-point increase over the 3% who said so in April.

What the hell does Tim Scott have going for him over the other 48 Republicans in the United States Senate besides his skin color?
Tim Scott is a solid conservative according to the National Right to Life Committee, the Ragle Forum, Liberty Guard, the Freedom First Society etc.
He’s a RINO. I’m sure the MSM is going to frame him as the primary GOP candidate.

Yes it’s true. He is getting the attention of Republican primary voters. Unfortunately they’re saying, “Why is this dolt still in the race with 3% support?”.
He wants us to be optimistic and to exp)in our Conservative Princables. No, the left must be stopped and defeated.

And in spite of having a solid conservative record, he’s too liberal for many here on Free Republic. Go figure.
In fairness, they think that the Kamala Harris donor Trump is a conservative. According to them, Trump is the only conservative in the country.

Then Scott will be the VP. Is he the right guy?....I’m not sure.
One of Trump’s biggest problems if elected will be McTurtle & the Senate, so having a VP from that legislative body might not be a bad idea.
Also, a black or hispanic VP might pull some votes away from the hodgepodge democrat coalition. Voters they’re dependent on to win elections.
There will be plenty of choices for VP, so there is no need for anything concrete at this juncture.
