Please report your thoughts after you see the film. Also, I’d be interested in the number of people at the viewing and their general demographics. Where is the theater, exactly?

The theater we went to is in Meridian (cheek by jowl with Boise) in Idaho. It was the noon showing, & the theater we were in only held 127. It wasn’t full, but we had about 50 people, mostly older. Not surprising on a Wednesday.

We had a bit of trepidation on how graphic it would be. Happily it was not too awful, but it did have many opportunities for tears. The children in the movie were just tremendous as far as acting goes. All in all, a great movie on an awful topic.

At the end, there’s a short statement by Jim Caviezel (sp?). And they ask for those watching to consider buying tickets for others via the website. Buy tickets for friends & family so they can see, or just “pay it forward” by buying tickets to be made available for others.

I hope this movie is widely seen. They do need to follow up with how bad trafficking is in the US. This movie took place mostly in Columbia, but the problem is really right here.
