Orthodox, of course, are the most Republican demographic in the USA. Insignificant and the only major voting block is buried in NYC.

They could have a mass exodus (excellent pun intended) and go turn some purple state solidly red, though.

The latest wave of Jews from the Soviet Block are also extremely politically conservative. Russian and Ukrainian Jews saved Israel from socialism in the voting booth.

Yep. Every knee will bow. I suspect unsaved reprobates will not want to bow the knee, but I think angels will grab them, and force them to their knees. Then they will hear the most terrifying words they could ever hear: depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. I suspect that it’s possible, that sound will rumble around inside their heads, for all eternity. That’s not a pleasant thought for them.

It’s somewhat complicated, in that our religion does, indeed have tribal elements to it.

I didn’t really intellectually understand this until I participated in the conversion of a young man whose father was Jewish at a Chabad in college. Part of being Jewish is joining the “Jewish people”.

So there can be Jewish people who are apostates, like most Reform and social Jews.
