I wonder if this Benioff guy has considered that. Progressives will not cut down on spending or abandon their crazy ideas. So they are going to have to raise taxes on the businesses that remain.
Giuliani did a good job reversing NYC’s decline in the 80s. It can be done.
But the culture and urban conditions today are far worse than they were in the late 70s and the whole “defund the police” movement has destroyed civilization in so many cities there may be no way back.

We need to wall off San Francisco and force the denizens to live in their own excrement lest the contamination of leftism spread even further. Let the once beautiful city serve as a warning to others.
