I suspect the Biden administration sees this as a feature and not a bug. Can you imagine the freedoms that are going to be taken away after the next attack on American soil? And that is "when" not "if" because I'm positive it is going to happen. Probably soon.

The left will take it as an opportunity to combine the lock-downs of Covid with the intrusions of the Patriot Act and unconstitutional restrictions on Americans will probably be imposed. I can see Biden limiting the supply of oil and gas for citizens while stating that since the SPR is so low (due to his actions) those resources must be limited to military only. Our travel will be severely restricted and the supply chain will come to a screeching halt.
