I’m old enough to know when to take Mark Twain’s advice concerning “arguing with a fool”.

A fool is someone who chooses to remain ignorant.

“In EV’s they do. {:~)”

In EV’s they’re new enough that they’re all LED, already.

They are pilfering the budgets everywhere, and one thing which will now deteriorate is the electric grid.

And as it is deteriorating, EVs will be placing more strain on it, and renewables will be vastly inferior, as the sun doesn’t always shine, and the wind doesn’t always blow. I suspect some bean counter figured out they could get an extra couple of years before rolling blackouts, if they can get all incandescents replaces by LEDs.

True but I was referring to them requiring grid power.

You understand of course that logic should never even enter into discussions of green energy. The only real solution they are currently pursuing is the elimination of demand. They have more than one way to do that and believe me they are considering all of them.

“... I was referring to them requiring grid power.”

I fully understood that.

But, since EV’s all have LED lighting all the way around, and ONLY EV’s affect The Grid, including automotive bulbs in the legislative hate list doesn’t help The Grid one iota. There’s no demand, there, to eliminate.

As I noted, anyone thinking eliminating incandescent automotive bulbs is helpful to the environment anywhere, at all, ever is simply too deadly stupid to be permitted to continue sucking oxygen.
