I understand your points but politicians have been getting away with serious crimes against the nation simply because they are politicians. Impeachment is a good tool and should be used to correct abusive behavior. If impeachment were used more frequently maybe the politicians would not so callously thumb their noses at the electorate.

That’s why Rats win - they have a strategy & we lose - “... do the right thing let the chips fall where they may! ...’. Those chips tend to fall against us! Why? Because they are pushed that way! Why are they pushed that way? They have a strategy - a plan and we don’t! Oh, we do scream about purity! That works! Not!

I don’t see the Double Jeopardy in either case but I would be interested in what Gingrich sees as a the danger. It is beyond me how such a deeply unpopular president still has any constituency with the American public, much less a chance at reelection.

Biden family corruption is extensive and well hidden.

It is going to take months to reconstruct the cash transfers and connect the payments to official acts Biden did as VP in return for the bribes.

The Burisma and Russia bribes are the tip of the iceberg and are being used to soften the Bidens up because they tie into the Russia hoax and because connecting the Burisma payments to Biden corruption are a slam dunk due to FBI docs, verified money transfers and Biden's bragging about using his position as VP to extort the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma and Hunter Biden using the withholding of 1 billion bucks in US taxpayer money

There is much more serious corruption that involves a billion or so dollars and rises to the level of treason that will take more time to develop.

The impeachment of Joe Biden is going to be a long process simply because of extreme extent of corruption is going to take a lot of time to reveal to the American people.

On a positive note - it's really egregious and obvious corruption for huge sums of money . It's old school, it's easy to understand and it's easy to tie the corruption to bad things happening to American voters.

One of the reasons the Clinton's and Obama's always skated was because they used complex and sophisticated schemes that were very difficult to even get your arms around, much less make an average person understand what they had done.

Not so with the Bidens.

Lolololo like they needed to be told this? It’s the GOP! When, other than cave to dems, have the GOP ever done anything fast??!!!

How slow, Newt? Maybe take a few years, until it all fades away? Slow enough? Got it covered!

Overthinking and “Strategery” is the GOPe specialty. That is why they lose and fail.

Democrats were willing to take the short term hit for Obamacare and the Great Society because they knew that long term it would give them total power.

Let me guess, you thought Obamacare and then the 2010 election was a big defeat for Democrats ?

The people who want to win will always defeat the people who want to cash in.

DC is a very funny place....

He’s right. At some point during the slow roll the Dems will take Joe out themselves with the 25th. Trump predicted that over 2 Years ago at the Alamo.

Part of the problem is people overthinking this stuff, trying for clever “strategery” instead of just doing the right thing, play it straight, and let the chips fall where they may.

~~~
nah! Let’s not think. Let’s just do.
strategery was for bush 43 mission accomplished types who didn’t think 3 steps past invasion.
strategy is for democrats who employ the entire deep state to entrap citizens and rig elections.
4d chess is the mythological gametheory strategy supposedly employed by Trump who couldn’t even looked deeply enough at all his appointees to see that they were all passive-aggressive saboteurs.
But I will agree with you about one thing. Success in impeachment of biden would be second best out of the three potentialities, and definitely better than doing nothing. But working the timeline well enough to keep him from outed at the convention is the best scenario.
Just like the FBI and Hunter and Joe Biden
Go very very slowly and hope relevance or statue of limitations runs out.
As if the GOP knows any other speed.
“...working the timeline well enough to keep him from outed at the convention is the best scenario.”
Repubs have absolutely no control over that !
All this stuff leaking out now is coming from Deep State elements who want Biden not to run again.
Why didn’t this come out in 2020 ? They held it then, but now they push it out !
Part of the problem is people overthinking this stuff...
An even bigger part of the problem is when people underthink this stuff.
I’m not sure they can go slower than they already are.
It seems to me that the reason some of this stuff is coming out now is because the republicans took the house back and got control of investigative committees
The power players still love Biden. He is the perfect puppet. Just keep his ice cream in stock!
You cited an example of Democrat strategy, actually a tactical move!
As far as you third sentence goes, I never said that, nor thought that. You must be projecting!
Now your 4th sentence is partially correct. Rats not only want to win and they really really want to! By hook or by crook if necessary! And of course, it’s how you cash in! Republicans would like to win but they have to settle the purity question first!
Better than slow would be building up a big war chest of attack ads to educate the voters.
