Incorrect. I just went to the wiki page for the French national team. Of the black players on the "current squad," 13 were born in France, while 4 were not. Check it yourself if you want to:

And just because you were born in France (or anywhere else for that matter) doesn’t make you ‘French’.
Over the years they have all been a hodge-podge of UN “Unesco” type players.
The most embarrassing WC was 2002 when almost all of their players were foreign legionaries and they got crushed.
