Former President Trump showered Vivek Ramaswamy with praise when asked in an interview if he'd considered the 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur for vice president.
Why it matters: It's the most Trump has weighed in on Ramaswamy's presidential candidacy, revealing his openness to a significantly younger and arguably more radical anti-Washington unknown.
Driving the news: Trump called Ramaswamy "smart" and "young" and "full of talent" when asked by conservative talk show host Glenn Beck what he thinks of a "Vice President Ramaswamy."
"He's a very, very, very intelligent person. He's got good energy, and he could be some form of something," Trump said of Ramaswamy. "I tell you, I think he'd be very good."
The exchange came less than a week after the first GOP debate, which Trump sat out but promised to watch for potential vice presidential picks. The intrigue: Trump, in the same interview with Beck, seemed to acknowledge Ramaswamy's tendency to drive controversy, urging him to reign it in.

Trump exposing his WEF roots. Won’t surprise me if Trump drops out of the race, and wants everyone to back the Manchurian, based on how things are playing out.
Every one to their own opinion. How can he deal with Soros paying his Yale tuition? It will be a tight election ripe with fraud and DJT needs the battleground states.
Ramaswamy might be a great guy. But he will not help Trump win in any swing states. And you can’t govern if you can’t win in the first place.
Trump needs to make a cold political calculation here, and pick a conservative VP who will give him a significant bump in a swing state.
I suspect that some of the anti-Vivek trolls are actually leftists who infiltrated FR—sort of like the Antifa thugs who dressed as Trump supporters on J6.
They all always say that at the point in process. If offered, he would take it in a heartbeat.

I nominate Peter Navarro for VP, and Steve Bannon for Chief of Staff.
Quite honestly I think the VP position is a dead end job. In my lifetime there’s only been four VP’s that became President, two of which were not elected and then GHW Bush and Biden. None of them had good records as President. Two of them are in the top five worst Presidents of all time.
Vivek has private sector executive experience. That should be put to use. VP’s generally run some kind of committee or task force that’s nothing more than to generate headlines. What I recall of Pence was he did the COVID thing and generated a bunch of headlines running press conferences. Other than that, there’s nothing memorable. Harris hasn’t done a damn thing other than travel and cackle. When Biden was VP he ran his business in Ukraine, China and a half dozen other countries. He is only infamous for that after the fact. Ford and LBJ have no memorable accomplishments as VP. A lot of that has to do with the position itself.
