Tucker Carlson claims US HATES Russia because it's a 'Christian' country
Daily Mail ^ | Aug 30 | By LEWIS PENNOCK

Tucker Carlson has claimed the United States 'hates' Russia because 'it's a Christian country' - amid claims in Moscow that he's trying to land an interview with Vladimir Putin.

The former Fox News star told MCC Feszt, a social, political and cultural festival in Hungary, that Russia is like Hungary in that both are nations 'built on Christian precepts'.

'That is enough to incite our policy makers in the United States and that is exactly why they hate Russia,' he said.

Carlson told the audience at the festival - which ran through the final weekend of July - that he is 'not a fan of Russia'.

He added: 'One thing that Russia and Hungary have in common is a big part of the population identify as Christians. Why would that be provocative?

'A huge part of Malaysians identify as Muslim. Fine with me. But it's not fine with Washington at all, it's deeply offensive to see that alive in Europe. And that is the core - it's not rational, this is happening on a gut level, but it is expressed through policy.'

Hungary, a member of both the European Union and NATO, has come under scrutiny from western leaders because of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's favorable approach to Russia and his reluctance to support military aid for Ukraine.

American far left forgave Russia because Russia hates America and is whitewashing communist crimes. They’re currently putting up statues to honor Stalin.

They hate Eastern European countries because these countries hate communism and are friendly with America.

I saw that speech and that is a deceptive characterization of his words and his point.

Really? Divorce is not against Christian law per se...we’ve reduced marriage to a non Christian act in most cases. We push abortions on the world and homosexuality...tying those to financial aid. We have murdered more innocent lives than the Nazis did. If you think the democrat controlled government is better than Russia you’re mistaken. We traffic more children, mutilation of children is rapidly growing, the government has targeted Christians for persecution...the list goes on and on.

Your America was killed, open your eyes.

You just keep endlessly, repeating yourself. I trust Tucker Carlson’s opinion far more than yours Pops. I think you’re some legacy fan of the Bush crime family.

I completely agree with you, but to call Russia a Christian nation is absurd. The actions of Putin and his minions win no way shape or form is Christian.

Jesus never razed cities and used an army to invade. Saying the US has fallen from God is one thing, to say that Russia is some kind of bastion of Christianity and Christian values is ridiculous

If Ukrainians are dopey enough to run into the teeth of Russian artillery, at the urging of Zelensky and Biden, I say the Darwin Theory is alive and well.

Stick that in your jogging suit.

I’ll take America over the Soviets any day.

Russia today is no more a Soviet nation than we are still a Constitutional Republic.

“Do you think Tucker is right here?”

Yes.....
Plus the fact that Russia (USSR) was a known enemy for so many years, it is real easy to get a large percentage of the populace to believe Russia, Russia, Russia is evil.
Gotta keep the serfs inflamed about a common enemy. Doncha know?

I don’t think the U.S. hates Russia, and Russia is less a Christian country than the U.S. Too many people falk for globalist lies.

All while you spread globalist lies.

It is interesting to see how folks twist things, I may be wrong but isn’t abortion legal in Russia, does Christ endorse suppression of speech, violence, invasion, war…. The fact that the US and the west in general have fled God, does not make Russia the bastion and salvation of Christianity as some claim

I used to like tucker, and he is right on many things, but not this one.

To use an analogy hitler was a very evil man, but not everything he did was bad.

Putin is evil, doesn’t necessarily mean everything he does is bad or that everything in Russia is evil

Because the west is going down the toilet does not mean that Russia is the shining city on the hill…..

Invasion, assignation,….. sure west does that so therefore Russia is in the right?

The “logic” is strong there

Misleading headline. The quote given in this excerpt points to policy makers” as those who hate Russia. Big difference.

Lol, again your comment is interesting because I see plenty of footage of Russians doing the very same thing.

Are they dopey and Darwin Award candidates as well?

Russia is the sum of its LONG history. The poor were clutching their beads, while the aristocracy used the poor with little regard for their welfare. Centuries of squabbles, warfare, strife, no matter who or what was in charge. Blood feuds persist even today. There is no love amongst the tribes, Rus, Slav, remain at each others throat. Outside intrutions formed coalitions, which eventually dissolved back into the old blood feuds. Since the 6th century! Regions such as Poland remained embattled for centuries and invaded solely for the tactical quality of its terrain in troop movements and cavalry deployments by all of Europe’s royal cousins. Was religion the opiate of the people? Given the lingering and persistent peasant abuse over centuries it was of course a comfort, at least until the next conflict arose and the employment of peasents for fodder became again necessary.

Still waters run deep, Carlson is a waterbug on a still pond making the tiniest ripple of a passing observation. Encapsulating long bloody histories into a minutes long vignette satifies only his ego and the dolts that feed themselves on any utterance from this darling Californio.

Tucker is Episcopalian. He has no idea what a real Christian is.

Few Russians are serious about their Orthodox faith. With most it’s a mental acknowledgment of their nation’s official religion. It’s not a daily walk. Church attendance in Russia is dismal. But that too indicates little.

But what do I know? Never been there. Wonder if there is a survey of the typical Russian’s daily walk & relationship with the Lord.

The Lord knows who are His, and on the other hand I’m sure He has many in Russia. And some are bound to be Orthodox. I have no problems with the Orthodox faith - it is orthodox. But acknowledging a religious system or faith does not make one a true Christian.

But

But from what I have heard Russia does not allow any practice christian of faiths other than Russian Orthodox; by law. That does not strike me as a christian nation.

Meaning "practice" as including sharing one's faith, even by telephone, it is outlawed. Like as the Pact of Umar this is designed to slowly strangle the competition to the state church. However, elective abortion is allowed. In the West, then the Left lust for the dictatorial control that Putin has, and wars against him as competition, as not being a team player.

The pledge allegiance of the Left (with one hand over groin) something like:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of Sodom, and to the perversion for which it stands, one nation under Satan, iniquitous, with licentiousness and gender transitioning for all."
