He brought them to their knees. It was a big win for us. The wild Indians in the east were quieted by the loss.

“Members of the American Indian Tribes and the local community”

How many is an important context here.

Wayne County, Michigan is also named after General Wayne.

I wonder if they're going to change their name to "Buckeye County."

I'm sure the University of Michigan Fans in the county won't mind...

Are we going to have to change the name of the state as well?

“Ohio” was named after the river, which is from Seneca (Iroquoian) ohi:yo’, a proper name from ohi:yo:h, literally “good river.”

Eventually the names of many places will have to change.

Washington DC, after all Washington owned slaves.

District of Columbia refers to Christopher Columbus, who should be canceled per these leftists.

Columbia University needs to go.

What about Pittsburgh? Did William Pitt have a 21st century politically correct worldview? If not that cit has to change its name.

Any place named for any person, is subject to being changed.

I heard the Cancel Culture Clubbers are looking at Mad Maxine Waters National Forest and Wild Mushroom Refuge as a new name.

If your name is “Wayne” it will be changed too.

Starting with Bruce Buckeye, Buckeye Newton, and John Buckeye Gacey.

As commander of the army, General Wayne would have been obliged to do what the president ordered him to do or resign. If the army under his command ever massacred any helpless, peaceful Indians, I haven’t heard of it.

What about Fort Wayne, Indiana?

Gotta change both the name of the city and the state!!!

And they thought “Mad Anthony Wayne” was crazy?

I didn’t know this guy was a Confederate.

This would only ever apply to Confederates/Southerners, right?

It is never ending.

Someone is always going to be offended by some name of a building, street, community, natural structure, etc.

Placating one opens the door to placating all of them.

The first Americans settled with their arms out to the native Indians, that didn’t work because Indians were basically savage through their culture.

Actually, we should have let the Indians rule, we would still be lighting fire with flint and riding horses.

Not this Retarded Sh!t again.

First we have the indigenous people pissing and moaning that sports teams that are named after them, I e. Indians, Chiefs, Braves, etc. Then they went after schools for using their names.

NOW the indigenous people want to change the name of a forest because “Wayne” defeated indigenous people 200+ years ago. They can’t have it both ways, Don’t use our names and Don’t remind us we got our asses kicked 200+ years ago.

I think this ALL about some slick lawyers looking to make serious bank pushing these insane ideas. Somebody is paying these SCUM LAWYERS

Rename it “John Wayne National Forest” and then you can keep most of the signs.
