Former President Donald Trump, as well as South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are leading President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup, the latest CNN poll found.
The survey asked respondents who they would choose in a series of hypothetical head-to-head matchups, all including Biden and various GOP candidates.
Trump, the clear leader in the Republican primary race, leads Biden in a head-to-head matchup by one percent, or 47 percent to 46 percent. Notably, Trump’s lead is within the ± 3.6 percent margin of error.
However, the former president is far from the only Republican candidate besting Biden. In fact, the survey found some of Trump’s challengers performing even better than him against Biden.
Haley, for instance, leads Biden 49 percent to 43 percent — a lead well outside of the margin of error.
Biden trails both Pence and Scott by two points, as both see 46 percent to Biden’s 44 percent.
Christie leads Biden by two points, 44 percent to Biden’s 42 percent, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is tied with Biden at 47 percent support.
While the survey shows Biden edging out anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy by one point — 46 percent to 45 percent — that is still a virtual tie, well within the survey’s margin of error.

The poll is obviously agenda driven but it’s still funny that Desanctimonius still can’t beat Biden. No one in the country could tell you 5 things about anyone on the list except Trump and Biden which means everyone else is unknown and can go in either direction once hammered by the Rats.
IF you allow the machine to destroy Trump, there will be no more honest elections, so the polls (and the votes) won’t matter.
I would never vote for Pence, not that he would ever be the candidate.
Whoever you are for won’t get my vote.
FJB has been off the ticket for months and is really not a factor. What the Democrat/Communists are attempting to do is lure conservatives to believe the lie that these others can mount an effective challenge just like Trump. The Democrat/Communists are, in fact, confident that they will defeat anyone the GOP puts up … except Trump which is why the Democrat/Communists are doing everything they can to “eliminate” Trump … so far, “eliminate him just on the ballot in red states run by RINOs and Trump-haters.
Pile of dog poo
Once the Republican candidate is chosen, the MSM will begin to hammer and soften up the Republican, if it is anyone other than Trump. With Trump they are terrified because no matter how much hammering they will do it makes absolutely no difference. However, with anyone else it will make a difference.
What is wrong with you?
It’s interesting to me the amount of overlap between Trump haters and Youcrane supporters here on FR.
>> That means we don’t need Trump
Define “we”. And by what authority do YOU claim to speak for “all y’all”?
>> What is wrong with you?
He has a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Biden has no actual plans to run (one highly suspects).
Hopefully some polls will match the prospective GOPers with other Dem candidates.
Might be highly enlightening.
>> no thanks. i don’t want them destroying my part of the country when they move in
It seemed to be a good thing for We The People when President Trump moved Department of the Interior out west to Colorado. That not only made sense — the West has far more “interior” to administer — plus it must have been a blow to the deep state ‘cause Jao Beidan reversed the plan and kept them in DC.
But I admit I have mixed feelings about the concept too.
On the one hand: “there goes the neighborhood” if you get one of these three-letter-agencies relocated near you.
On the other hand: “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. If need be, agencies distributed throughout flyover country will be easier for us to co-opt (or even destroy, God forbid) should DC continue down the path of tyranny.
Yes, I wonder about Biden as they say “if he runs”. DeSantis will be debating Newsom soon, which might set the stage for the real campaign.
You got played.
The only ones played are the remaining Trump supporters.
The debate will be highly anticipated and highly watched.
That said, I'll be my allowance (if I got an allowance) that Mister Trump will try to interfere.
First, he'll insult the proceedings and also Gov. DeSantis. Schoolyard names to be called are a given.
Second, Trump will either hold a rally or stage an interview to throw a televised body block to try to divert folks who might otherwise be interested in hearing the Governor DeSantis/ Mister Newsom debate.
It’s possible that Biden can lose to anyone. It’s all so possible that he stands the best chance against Trump.
It’s funny that everyone lights you up for showing Trump’s relative weakness versus all of the other available candidates. Maybe it’s possible that Biden will be so disqualified that even Trump can win, but I don’t understand why we need to even make it this close. Close elections normally don’t go our way.
In any case, it’s not going to be Newsome. The Communists are banking on Trump being the nominee and rolling the dice since at least that matchup is tight. Kamala polls horribly against all GOP rivals, but she would be the favorite in an open primary anyway, at least if you believe the polls. In that regard, she’s sort of similar to Trump although her primary lead is not that commanding.
It would be way too much of a risk to open up their primary. Bernie could jump back in and take it. They’re sort of stuck with Biden unless he dies or there’s some huge reversal in Kamala’s polls.

Yep, virtually to the person. Seems to represent a characteristic where they let the Western Media manipulate them by driving their emotions, and therefore don’t take 5 minutes to look past the Media Narrative, and find out the facts (and history, in the case of Ukraine).
