Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) warned on CNN that Republicans will lose in 2024 if moderate members of Congress are bullied into taking more conservative positions such as abortion and the potential impeachment of President Joe Biden.
During an appearance on CNN’s The Source, Mace was asked by Kaitlan Collins whether she supports an impeachment inquiry into Biden.
"It’s hard to say at this point. I think there’s a difference between an impeachment vote and an inquiry. The inquiry would give us another tool in the toolbox, specifically to look at Joe Biden’s bank records,” said Mace. “I’ll support an impeachment inquiry. An impeachment vote is totally separate, but an inquiry I would support at this juncture.”
Collins replied, “I think the other point of confusion here is that all this is being tied to funding the government,” before noting that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) had said “she won’t vote to fund the government unless that House impeachment inquiry is passed.”
“I’m not voting to fund the government because Republicans and Democrats have spent too much,” Mace insisted. “I think holding hostage an impeachment inquiry is wrong.”
Collins questioned, “But it’s holding the government hostage for the impeachment inquiry, right?” to which Mace responded, “In a sense, that would.”

Nope, she’s not that stupid. However, shortly after the Speaker vote, she was ripping on Gaetz & calling him a fraud for fundraising off the vote.
Mace is being groomed as an establishment replacement for one of South Carolina’s Senators, sometime in the future.
Its seems to me moderates will be “bullied” for a couple of reasons by MAGA folks…..

The 2024 GOPe house is likely to get tossed next year anyway, the days of voting for the lesser of evils is over. No ‘red wave’ appeared last year as a warning for congress to wake up as the voters were right on this as the republicans are almost as pathetic as the rats. We’ll be in $40,000,000,000,000 in debt before the decade is out as this will considerably more than the GDP. I see Trump winning next fall but he’s not going to bring congress up to majority status as they haven’t earned it.
Rat faced Mace (SC 1), my congress traitor, ran as a pro Trump conservative and got elected on Trump’s coat tails in 2020. She immediately stabbed Trump in the back and began to RINO herself on issues. She had a primary opponent in 2022, but Mace outspent her 10-1. Mace thinks SC 1 is a purple district because of the country club snobs in Charleston who value style over substance. Mace is following the Lindsey Lohan Graham strategy of straddling the issues. She is infuriating. I hope we can primary her again in 2024.

The worse thing Mace did was fake a hate crime in 2020. She sprayed her house with Antifa graffiti and played the victim. It was a pure Jussie Smollett move.
The Republicans have been in control of the House for less than 9 months.
They have done great work exposing egregious Biden and Democrat corruption, butt a formal investigation needs to be done to lay the foundations for impeachment and get America behind the impeachment so it does not backfire like the Clinton impeachment did.
An impeachment investigation will take at least until the spring of 2024
By then the election season will be in full swing and Biden will be out of office in a few months so what is the point
