White House Promotes Biden’s Marijuana Moves As Part Of ‘Fight For Our Freedom’ Campaign To ‘Mobilize Young People’

The White House is promoting President Joe Biden’s mass marijuana pardon and scheduling review directive as part of a “Fight for Our Freedom” campaign meant to “mobilize young people” as next year’s election approaches.

A factsheet about the campaign that the administration published on Thursday contains a section dedicated to the president’s cannabis reform actions from late last year titled, “Addressing a Failed Approach to Marijuana.”

“The criminalization of marijuana possession has upended too many lives—for conduct that is now legal in many states,” it says. “While white, Black and brown people use marijuana at similar rates, Black and brown people are more likely to be in jail for it.”

The youth outreach campaign will involve a college tour featuring Vice President Kamala Harris that begins at Hampton College on Thursday. The vice president will visit a total of seven colleges across the country over the next month, though its unclear if she will explicitly tout the administration’s cannabis reform actions on campuses...

“The president announced a full, unconditional, and categorical pardon for prior federal and DC simple marijuana possession offenses,” it says. “This pardon lifts barriers to housing, employment, and educational opportunities for thousands of people with prior convictions under federal and D.C. law for simple marijuana possession.”

Marijuana legalization in Washington was quickly followed by a massive increase in schizophrenic young homeless men.

I am convinced that maryjane causes homelessness and its attendant decay and crime.

It is also back door gun control. They will use AI to scour credit card records to find people that bought “legal edibles” but didn’t disclose it on their 4471 on their next gun purchase.

Dude, if you give kids cannabis, they will not be mobilized. Quite the opposite. And those youths that cannabis awakens psychosis in, which I’ve seen and had to deal with, whatever they do will be on you.

It’s analogous to Soma in “Brave New World”.

Soma was used to pacify the peons. Pacified peons sit around being pacified. They don’t “mobilize”. Some of the latent schizophrenics might suddenly attack someone after huffing some mary jane, but that’s no use except in a street riot.

Enablers are often popular, and seem more persuasive. :^)

“All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives...”

That clause is dead in the Constitution.

Republicans went to the Supreme Court to protest that ObamaCare originated in the Senate when Democrats amended a House bill called "Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009" (H.R.3590 - 111th Congress) to gut it entirely and insert Obamacare into it before sending it back to the House. The Senate effectively turned the House bill into an empty container to get around the Origination clause.

The Supreme Court declined to hear the case.
