Chicago has taken the first concrete step to deliver on Mayor Brandon Johnson’s controversial plan to get more than 2,000 migrants off the floors of police stations, O’Hare and Midway airports and into giant tent cities he prefers to call “winterized base camps” before temperatures plummet.
Piggybacking onto an existing state procurement, the city has signed a $29.3 million contract with GardaWorld Federal Services LLC for “migrant temporary housing.”
“The purpose of this Purchase Order is to allow the City to purchase from the State Contract temporary housing solutions and related services … to provide critical services to asylum seekers,” according to the contract, signed Sept. 12.
“The City reserves the right to utilize other contractors and/or City employees at any sites set up as temporary housing solutions pursuant to this Purchase Order.”

Winterized? When will these Democrats get their stories straight? There won’t be winter due to climate change. It’s going to be sweltering. You would think they would be a little more consistent and include air conditioning in these luxury accommodations for our new neighbors.
$29,300,000 divided by 2,000 is $14,650 per illegal alien.
And that’s just for starters. This contract will balloon up so fast it won’t be funny. And why Garda? They’re an armored car company. What experience and expertise do they have in this area?

My dad went into the Navy during Korea, they said he was flying to boot camp in San Diego, which is nice in January, he got off of the plane in Chicago headed to Great Lakes Training Center.
Do the same thing, tell them they are flying to a beach in Miami and drop them off in Brazil.

Would be great if the homeless TOOK OVER the “weatherized housing” for the winter. Maybe THEY can get “culturally appropriate” food too. AND their laundry done.

Well the good news is... once our Marxist masters have successfully eliminated fossil fuels-powered vehicles... there will be nothing except EVs for those evil “white supremacists” in Chicongo to hijack. And there won’t be enough of those EVs to make a decent “white supremacist” living. So there’s that. Hey, maybe they could try jacking bicycles next...?
