From what I read she’s a fund raising hack who’s getting nominated because she gets millions of dollars for democrat candidates and this is her reward.

Primarily re: abortion. She's top dog of EMILY'S list, which literally means "Early money is like yeast" in that it rises like leavening bread dough.... get those fund raising efforts off to a fast start!
But Maryland is so very, very far away from California. Really, a bridge too far, I would think.
