Yes, ironic that in a case hingeing on the legitimate evaluation of property values, this “expert” assesses the value of Mar-a-Lago at $18m - $30m. SMH. The clown show reaches a new level of circus.

Yes, which is it? $18 or $30 million? That’s quite a lot of indeterminacy in a case built on the idea that the prosecution can determine Trump’s property values with absolute certainty.
Trump claims, and did so again when the court was on a break, that the valuation was actually 100x more.
That’s 1.8 billion dollars. Buckingham Palace isn’t even worth that much.
When you are in court accused of lying about property valuations, probably not a good idea to lie about property valuations to reporters when you are in the courts hallway.
And I have to think every document, every estimate is reviewed and likely even supplied by attorneys and accountants and real estate agents, etc. These values are not something Trump would have put on the documents himself. I doubt he did more than sign what was put in front of him.
What are you ranting about? I am just as upset about persecution as you and everyone here is. I’m watching closely. Sure, it might harm Trump, but it harms all of us, harms the country. This has nothing to do with the election. Maybe you should try and keep it separate, like I am.
Not only that, but all parties to this deal liked the deal, willingly loaned him the money, which was paid back in full with interest.

I bet the Trump lawyers will put into evidence the independent valuations made by bank employees. The bank valuations override any other. They are the ones with skin in the game.

As a judge in a high profile case, it is probably not a good idea to claim as fact, in issuing a ruling, that Mar-a-Lago is worth $18 million. Insulting the intelligence of the general public or the appellate courts is probably never a good idea.
The property—which was built in the 1920s for socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post—has generated the former president tens of millions of dollars each year as a social club and through initiation fees, including roughly $10 million in 2014, $22 million in 2015 and $29 million in 2016.
Overall, Mar-a-Lago has seen revenue drop from $25.1 million in 2017 to $21.4 million in 2019.

There are also nearby comps. In real estate, comps are EVERYTHING...............and in my mind, Trump is not that far off. It is only worth what someone will pay, vindictive and controlled judge be damned.....

Also nearby: a 2.3-acre plot of land at 1063/1071 N. Ocean Blvd., on the market for a sky-high $200 million.
