Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis brought in $15 million in fundraising over the past three months for his Republican presidential campaign.

The DeSantis campaign also confirmed to Fox News that it is moving staff from Florida to Iowa, where the Jan. 15 caucuses lead off the GOP presidential nominating calendar.

"This significant fundraising haul not only provides us with the resources we need in the fight for Iowa and beyond, but it also shuts down the doubters who counted out Ron DeSantis for far too long," campaign manager James Uthmeier said in a statement.

But the $15 million haul over the past three months is less than the $20 million raised by DeSantis during the second quarter of fundraising

It seems like all desanctimonious has been doing is fund raising, because he doesn't ever seem to have many open, public events advertised on his campaign site.

His advisors sure must have desantis convinced that the GOPe rino uniparty is going to get Trump off the ballot, somehow....

And desantis still has a chance.... if he stays in....

His consultants are bleeding him and his donors dry. When they are done with him his coffers will be empty.

Not a bad consolation prize for a tanking ‘campaign’.

Or maybe you are just not looking for DeSantis events. He's got multiple things going on almost every day--in person, online, etc. He's been to, last count I heard, 58+ Iowa counties.

I'll help out over the coming days and like Trump's events, if I have time, I'll and others maybe can start posting a thread for each, and pinging you so maybe you can join and listen? Heck, I don't support Trump, but I still listen and watch and read about his events. I try not skip any.

At this point, all DeSantis can hope for is that something very bad happens to Trump.
Which is quite ghoulish, in my opinion.

It looks like Donald Trump has momentum. I’m not even on his train at the moment. Whatever happens, this is good practice for DeSantis. He’ll need it for 2028 when he gets to face Gavin Newsom, who is going to be a formidable challenger.

This was always his only play. Took the mong enough to figure it out. If he loses Iowa he’s done. All the more so if the numbers look anything like the polls. If he wins Iowa and least the money won’t dry up. Iowa is tailor made for him. If he loses, he’s not going to do a turn around in NH and he’s already sliding in SC. Put every dollar you have in a ground in Iowa or you’re finished (and I speak as someone who hopes your finished).

And the law-abiding taxpaying white middle class in Florida’s bluest counties can just go to hell. Absentee law enforcement, crooked prosecutors and judges, destruction of property rights, crowded doctors’ offices, crowded emergency rooms, crowded school rooms, crowded roads full of cars with drivers who have zero driving or relational skills. The 800-pound elephant in the Florida room no one ever wants to talk about. But he’ll be just great in The White House.

A smallish portion (I'm retired) of that 15 mil is from me.

I'll donate more this month.

Ron can win the general election.

15 million from the same big GOP Cheney donors...

There is only one person with an R by his name who can win, period and its not anyone who has taken a debate stage this cycle.

Establishment are just showing how out of touch they continue to be.

If they refuse Trump as the nominee, regardless of their reason for doing so, the GOP will lose, 30% or more of their base instantly, and most of it will NEVER ever come back.

Trump is the nominee, he was the nominee as of Jan 7, 2021, as long as he chose to run. Like it or not, that’s the reality of this cycle. If the GOPe who’s malfeasance was part and parcel of the 2020 fraud, engage in more malfeasance and refuse Trump as the nominee, as a national party they are done as a national party, they will never recover losing a 1/3 of their base.

That’s the reality folks.. the notion one of these other clowns will somehow step in and save the day is beyond comical.

“Ron can win the general election.”

No, he can’t, that lie has sailed long ago.

Electability is always the last refuge of the establishment, they trot it out anytime the pleebs aren’t following their script, and they don’t know what else to do.

A sitting governor, who is going to lose the primary by 40-50 points is not electable in a general election. Desanits can’t even win the primary in his home state.

There is ZERO chance, ZERO, any person who has taken a republican debate stage this cycle can win a general election.

at his campaign outset-

he was 7/2 solid third choice behind Biden and Trump

$35mill/mo later and he is 23/1 tied with RFK as 7th choice.

As tempting as it is, any more it seems like kicking a dead horse. With biden at least it could be due to elder abuse.

I think it’s time to retire your campaign ronny. Unless of course you choose to set a new record and break Jebs $ to delegates ratio failure.

But hey, ya just never know
