On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) stated that the whole reason America gives vast amounts of military aid is so that “when the chips are down, when a crisis is in our midst, that Egypt will ally with us, will side with us. And right now, we’re having a really hard time getting Egypt to just do the basics of opening up that crossing.” And stated that if Egypt won’t do so, there should be “consequences for our relationship with Egypt in the future.”

The last thing Egypt needs is a flood of violent hyper-islamists on its’ soil.
Trying to be a rational actor in the middle east is tough enough without that.

President Obama working with the Muslim Brotherhood, Jeff Zuckerberg’s Facebook employees and the United States, and European press successfully started a rebellion in Egypt. President Hosni Mubarak was deposed and jailed.
Later an election was held and Mohammad Morsi, of the Muslim Brotherhood was elected. Soon he Installed Sharia law. Many Egyptians were beaten, jailed and finally Mohammad Morsi was overthrown by the Egyptian military. General Al Sisi became President.
Egypt understands the Palestinians, backed by Iran’s Muslim Brotherhood are a threat to their country.
Poor Democrat Senator Murphy does not care about the Egyptian people. Maybe he can speak to his Muslim Brotherhood terrorist friends in
Iran. They can take the Palestinians.
No one wants the so-called Palestinians from Gaza.
They are intransigent trouble makers and lazy bums except when it comes to building bombs and killing Jews.
Egypt was overjoyed to be rid of Gaza when Israel occupied the Sinai in the 1967 Six Day war.
Jordan has about 2 million of them residing there and even gave refuge to the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization).
But the PLO caused so much friction and trouble for Jordan that they were booted out in 1970 and went to Lebanon.
Once there they helped kill off the Lebanese Christian population and drag lebanon into ongoing warfare with Israel.
The Gazans are a 2 million strong and growing eternal welfare population who do little to support themselves, living on handouts from Christians and Jews for the last 75 years.
No one likes them, no one wants them.
Even most Arab countries don’t want anything to do with them.
Iran uses them as canon fodder to harass Israel but won’t take them in to reside there.
Europe and Uncle Stupid are two of the major financial supporters of the Palestinians who use much of their aid money to wage war with Israel and to reward the families of Palestinian Jihadis killed when attacking Israelis.
Absolutely.
For instance: here is a twitter analyst who shows that the explosion in traffic on the Wadi Gaza bridge was due to a car bomb - and therefore was part of a deliberate campaign by Hamas to dissuade their ‘body armor’ from leaving Gaza.

Hamas international relations chief said the terrorist group’s plan was never to target civilians when its forces invaded Israel on October 7.
Instead he expressed surprise at the human toll exacted by the invading forces as they embarked on mass rape, torture, kidnapping, and slaughter of Israeli innocents.
“The chief commander of the Al Qassem Brigade, who initiated the operation, he gave clear instructions not to target civilians or not to harm civilians,” Dr Basem Naim told Australia’s ABC 7.30 report during an interview.
