I don’t know how Emmer is in office, but the views he stated when he was a radio host was extremely libertarian and huge on cutting money.
I remember he once said “I hope they shit down the government. I hope they media is showing all if the starving grandma’s in TV then. That’s how little I care about the repercussions of shutting down government “
Consider who he shared a studio with. Libertarian isn’t a swear word, but Tom at least was a “smaller Government conservative”... Which does align with libertarianism at times.
We could use a LOT of that “smaller government” mentality right now...
