Only if we are attacked or something by Iran or some other crisis comes up before we have a Speaker. Everyone has scalps at this point so they need to come together and find a consensus candidate THAT CAN DO THE JOB. I kind of thought that would be Scalise but it didn't happen, probably because of Jordan. And now Jordan has paid the price.
If we don't get someone soon, decide between Scalise and Jordan and move forward already. Put it up for secret vote with just those 2 and agree to let the best man win by majority.
McCarthy was 6 votes short. No one else comes that close. If they don’t put McCarthy back in soon then I suspect some in the gop will make a deal with the Dems.
