I agree with you in that Flynn’s statement has some value. Now the public knows a bit more than they did before.
But only a bit more. It’s like calling a fire department and telling them that there’s a fire in the city. But not telling them just where the fire is.
I also agree with you in that Flynn would have a lot to lose by naming names. I don’t mean to sound corny here, but that’s what heroes are made of. Taking a risk to do the country a great service. That’s easy for me to say, I know. But it’s true nonetheless.
As it is now, no names means no investigations, and no news coverage. So this whole thing will be forgotten in a week or so.
