I laugh at the idea of solar in Seattle - it has an average 226 cloud covered days a year
I don’t understand how they persuade people to go for it. My guess is that they send the power to CA during the summer, for air conditioning and people are satisfied with the subsidized electric bill for the two months of the summer.
What I find even weirder is that they hired a guy to handle the construction of off shore wind farms, or at least investigate it. Never mind that they have been crying about the whales and the salmon and planning to tear down electric power dams to save the salmon.
