While I agree wholeheartedly with Trump's explanation for not going to meet Zelenski, I'm not sure this is entirely true.
Multiple Hollywood celebrities have visited Zelenski in Ukraine to include Angelina Jolie, Jessica Chastain, and Ben Stiller. They're all civilians as much as Trump is.
