We are wasting money on carbon neutral energy while our economic competitors are building coal plants. Why?
America gets what it votes for. No, wait.....
“Another looney green new deal boondoggle with your tax dollars.”
The politicians love it, both sides. The public buys it, as long as it’s “green” and “sustainable”.
There are a few use cases where hydrogen energy is a good thing. But they are few and certainly not worth trying to do at the grid level.
If somebody could figure out how to “manufacture”/mass-produce hydrogen in both a cost-effective and energy-efficient manner, I’d be all for this. But instead this is a typical Democrat move: implement (which often involves the words require/demand/enforce) a “solution” before any of that feasibility groundwork has been established.
Hydrogen is not a source of energy......................
When do I get my grant check? Minus 10% of course.....
Jimmy Carter did the first one, with his synthetic fuels program. That turned out to be a waste of money, and it wouldn’t pass muster with the greenies anyway.
Natural Gas is raw and can be piped endlessly.
Another insane woke money-grab and power-grab, paid for with printed fiat dollars and massive government debt.
So I’m listening to the local news this morning. Some lady is talking about how bad inflation is. And she interviewed some people who were really hurting. Then she talked about the ways to cope with inflation. She mentioned things like using coupons, buying in bulk, etc.
Funny that she didn’t mention the cause, how Biden’s wild spending is crushing the country. Maybe she just ran out of time. Or maybe she thinks inflation is just something that fell out of the sky.
This is not much different than complaining about wolf attacks, but for some reason not actually mentioning the wolves.
I am sure that GERBILS in rotating cages will be the ‘next source’of energy
These busy-body do-nothings are hellbent to piss away all our wealth chasing after the next shiny object. Absolutely zero concern about reasonable goals or expectations. There’s a world to save! And they are the saviors, of course.
Actually, this step is a functionally logical one. Eventually transitioning to Hydrogen power is actually a good idea, as long as it isn’t forced upon us.
Doesn’t mean that hydrocarbons aren’t still going to be needed for many things.
Criminals looking for another crooked enterprise.
The taxpayers are the mark.
