Tim McGraw has said that he is personally opposed to abortion, but that he believes that it should be a woman’s right to choose what happens to her own body. He has also said that he supports laws that protect women’s access to abortion services.
In a 2002 interview with Rolling Stone, McGraw said, “I’m personally opposed to abortion, but I think it’s a woman’s right to choose.” He went on to say, “I think it’s important for women to have access to safe and legal abortion services, and I support laws that protect that right.”
