Are there really that many of those?
I don’t know about now, but since before I was born, flyover country in Canada has been under-populated. I’m not using that as a reason they need immigrants, but I’m sure Trudeau is. Most of the population is concentrated in the big cities, and you know how THEY usually vote.
We just did an 1,800 mile drive through Washington State, British Columbia, and Alberta, then back home to North Idaho. It’s a BIG empty country!
Canada’s westerners are much like westerners in the USA — freedom-loving, fiercely independent, and hate the overly big and powerful central government. But the sparsely populated states in both countries don’t carry much weight in Wash DC or Ottawa.
