Putting the abortion issue on the ballot in several states brought out the left wing base to vote. Sweeping in people running for dog catcher all the way up to the governor.

There is definitely a dynamic going on here with abortion. To deny it just ignores the issue. It's like, "I don't believe me or mine should kill babies, but that's a personal decision that every person has a right to decide" kind of thing. It's one of those issues that allows one to say something different in the voting booth than in public, and it's high on the "most important issue" list.

Right to life is certainly a worthy hill to die on, but it doesn't say much for the state of our country when we are passing state Constitutional Amendments to declare a "right". I guess that is why they call many of us "boomercons" since we can't see the issue except in a particular objective way. Critical thinking is dead and gone.

That has been the bain of America since the 1960s!! The church (along with its people) has turned away from its purpose of guidance and support for those who are/have fallen away from biblical teachings. And when did America start the GREAT SLIDE into our current abyss? I would argue it was the 1960s! We have been sliding down a slippery slope since FDR turned our tax coffers into a vote-buying, give-a-way, piggy bank. That was made possible by destroying the State appointment of Senators and the creation of the income tax and central bank system, but those I believe were simply short land shifts that ultimately set FDR to go full communist giveaway crazy.

We the People MUST step up and explain the importance of NOT KILLING our future with abortion on demand!

We the People MUST step up and VOTE OUR CONSCIENCE at every election!

We the People MUST get out and vote! ESPECIALLY on local issues (those affect most of us more than anything the Feds do)!

I was so proud last night, in an off-year election, I stood in line to vote in rural Texas (about an hour and 15 west of Dallas) for more than an hour! Our turnout this year was AMAZING! And it still will only be about 10% of registered voters. That MUST change if We the People want to continue to control our own destinies and preserve the future for our children!

Sort of like, I don't believe in stealing my neighbors stuff but every person has a right to decide for themselves.

I said the day the Roe decision was announced the old would be next. We have taken much longer to get there but we are following the Hitler model and going after the mental defectives and infirm first, the old are being put in nursing homes where care at best is marginal. Do you remember when Oregon fought John Ashcroft into submission over euthanasia? Well actually they ran a dead man against him and he laid down.

Have you noticed what is happening in Canada? Did you notice when New York put their sickest people in nursing homes, what happened to the elderly? I contend that was not just a human error due to an overabundance of caution.

When some lives begin to have less value than others how do you avoid being placed in that less value group?
