IIRC, there is a rulebook by which Minnesota cops are supposed to operate. At the time this occurred, placing a knee on the neck in a non-fatal way was in the rule book.

Chauvin sits in prison. Back when this happens people were led to believe that it was Chauvin with a knee on Floyd’s neck.
Many people on this site agreed with that.
I can’t see using this on any candidate now. The truth of what really happened was hidden from the public until now.
Except for one thing: The knee did not kill Floyd.

They needed Chauvin to be guilty and that is what they did.
