Squad members criticize AIPAC for reportedly committing to spend $100 million to defeat them

The extreme left-wing, anti-Israel handful of Representatives called "The Squad" is not happy that they may face serious election challenges. In response to the AIPAC political spending news, Omar asked her followers on social media to help the so-called Squad "build a grassroots effort to defeat" Republican aligned SuperPACs.

Progressive House lawmakers in the so-called Squad criticized the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for reportedly committing to spend $100 million to defeat them.

According to a report from Slate, Democratic Reps. Cori Bush of Missouri, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Jamaal Bowman of New York, Summer Lee of Pennsylvania, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan are all targets of the $100 million AIPAC spending campaign.

AIPAC's press office was not available for comment on the reported $100 million figure before press time.

"If what AIPAC was lobbying for was truly popular in our districts, they wouldn’t need to spend millions to smear us," Omar wrote on social media. "We win because we fight for the people we represent, not Republican Super PACs. Help us build a grassroots effort to defeat them."

Omar added a link to her post that directs her followers to an Act Blue donation page for her campaign. Squad member Hakeem Jefferies, D-N.Y, has raised more than $7.8 million since January of this year, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) data shows. The same dataset shows that Omar has raised more than $1.5 million in the same time period.

Squad member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., also responded to the AIPAC news.

"Criticism of the Israeli gov is virtually nonexistent in US politics, but apparently that’s not enough," she wrote on X. "Gotta spend *$100 million* to unseat the few who believe in Palestinian human rights & a ceasefire..."

That’s not enough. You to hire the largest, most diverse voter fraud team ever assembled.

B) Money well spent.

representatives to Congress speak for their constituents so who, exactly, are the people these representatives speak for? makes you wonder what the real voters behind these representatives think about their representatives representation of them. IF they are voted back into office, then you’ll know the type of people we share a country with.

If their ideas are popular it won’t matter how much money is spent against them

The Jihad Squad (pictured) truly has to be the dumbest 4 women in the universe. Women in Islam countries are routinely and “legally” beaten by the “man” in their life for trivial offenses. Women are murdered in honor killings. Women are raped by the hundreds (October 7) and just for fun in countries all over the world. And, ALL of this is done in the name of Islam which these 4 women proport to support BUT....... do they?

I think they are four “opportunists” who support Islam to get votes in their district and then make a lot of money instead of waiting tables or bartending. All 4 of them are millionaires or approaching that status.

The Squad and liberals in general receive hundreds of millions of dollars in endorsements from news media, which is mostly anti-MAGA, anti-Conservative and anti-Christian. Bias (fake) news and an education system that indoctrinates our children into a progressive, evil worldview is MAGA's biggest problem. We the people and Republicans in Congress have yet figured out how to remove or change (for the better) the actors who continue to corrupt our nation.

They are in some of the safest democratic skewed districts.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D+28
Ilhan Omar, D+30
Rashida Tlaib, D+23
Cori Bush, D+20
Ayanna Pressley, D+35

It’s money ill spent. Look for contestable swing districts.

If 80% of Democrats support the Hamas Caucus as they claim, what are they worried about?

“Hamas Covenant 1988”

“The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that.”

“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”

“It is necessary to instill the spirit of Jihad in the heart of the nation so that they would confront the enemies and join the ranks of the fighters.”

“Woman in the home of the fighting family, whether she is a mother or a sister, plays the most important role in looking after the family, rearing the children and embuing them with moral values and thoughts derived from Islam. She has to teach them to perform the religious duties in preparation for the role of fighting awaiting them. That is why it is necessary to pay great attention to schools and the curriculum followed in educating Moslem girls, so that they would grow up to be good mothers, aware of their role in the battle of liberation.”

I presume AIPAC is looking to run primary candidates against these nitwits.

In AIPAC’s eyes, Jamaal Bowman committed the unforgivable sin of winning the Democratic primary in 2020 over a longtime incumbent (Eliot Engel) who was a de facto representative of Israel in Congress.

This farce illustrates so many things that are fouled up in our government.

I hope Greg Casar (D-Austin), who aligns with the squad, is also targeted by AIPAC’s efforts. He’s a thoroughly disgusting creature who was the architect of the ‘defund the police’ efforts in Austin.

It long overdue that AIPAC and all the other pro-Israel lobbies be required to register under the Foreign Agent Registration Act. For the last several years we’ve heard howls of “foreign interference” in our elections, Israeli interference in our elections shouldn’t be tolerated, and they are the foreign agents who do the most interfering.

Big picture I think it’s a waste of valuable campaigning money. If they are successful whoever wins the primary will vote exactly as the squad would. Nothing will be gained. These districts are lost rat hell holes. Spend the money elsewhere
