Within hours of House Speaker Mike Johnson releasing the videos of events in the Capitol on January 6, it became clear that the official narrative was a lie.
With police officers welcoming in their unexpected guests, showing them around, and fist-bumping those from whom they’d just removed handcuffs…well, it was clear that the FBI and Justice Department were gaslighting Americans, whether about how the incursion into the Capitol happened or what took place once Americans were in there.
This new information is another reminder that our federal bureaucracy is corrupt and that Vivek Ramaswamy is correct that we need to fire half (or more) of America’s federal workers.
What we were told was that January 6 was worse than the Civil War and Pearl Harbor…put together. (And I only just realized that the Democrats and Liz Cheney never mentioned it being worse than 9/11, which makes you wonder exactly how they view events on 9/11.) However, a lot of the now-revealed footage from inside the Capitol on January 6 shows a placid group of Americans walking through the people’s house:

Yes, there were people on January 6 intentionally doing mischief (although I wonder how many were government plants) but, for the most part, many found themselves carried along by the crowd and, once these patriots were inside, they were awed and honored to be in Congress.
What’s important to remember is that the FBI and the DOJ knew this all along. The truth, however, did not stop them. Determined to destroy Trump, his supporters, and Republicans generally, they embarked on a nationwide witch hunt that has lasted almost three years and destroyed thousands of lives. (And I say thousands because these prosecutions, like ripples on a pond, destroyed not just the defendants but everyone in the defendants’ lives.)

That guy was very likely one of the undercover agents, who accidentally got cuffed.
I saw video of the police welcoming the J6 crowd and escorting them through the building a long time ago. Why do people act like they never knew it before.
Get rid of MOST of FBI, CIA, DOJ and Dept of Weingarten. One morning if the doors are all locked so they cannot destroy anything-JUST FIRE THEM and start again. Let Ramaswamy be the hiring agent. And TAKE AWAY THEIR SECURITY CLEARANCES. Start w the 51 who signed Hunter’s letter.
And when a pres leaves give all info to the Nat’l Archives. Take NOTHING. Or just get rid of the Nat’l Archives.
Boy, I could clean up that mess in abt 3 days.

If I recall correctly, at the point of the muzzle flash, the barrel’s vector was closer to her hip than neck.
If they released a bunch of video, how come this is it so far?
I’d like to see more of the pair of documentarians strolling around trying to agitate the crowds ...for the sake of CNN.

Any idea of the velocity and placement of the bullet within the barrel at the point the muzzle flash is visible to a camera recording at 60 fps? Honest curiosity. I’d imagine this type of ballistics info is well documented.
Anyway, knowing such factors, it shouldn’t be too difficult to determine the final effect of the recoil assuming average grip and arm strength of the shooter. If I’m not mistaken, the gun was a little bit more than two full door widths (maybe 36” each) from the victim, and a potential vertical distance between hip & neck of about 18”. That would be a significant 4:1 displacement given the proximity. If for example, the shooter was aiming for a target 20 feet away at shoulder height, the impact would be 5 feet higher than intended.
Hypothetically, if it were a blank, recoil and muzzle flash mean nothing.
Why, can someone tell me why didn’t McCarthy release these tapes?
I mean just about all of us on this forum knew the truth.

The Committee members like Cheney and Kinzinger....should be subpoenaed....and asked why did they perpetuate this lie...

Politics attracts some well-meaning people but rewards the most malleable among them.
I think this started with Charlottesville. (BLM vs White Supremist.)
The local papers interviewed people who said the 2 groups came on the same busses!
