He was testifying in congressional hearings well into his 90s. He had a good, long run.
He was very good at taking orders from Nixon because the actual genius behind Richard Nixon’s foreign policy was Richard Nixon, not Kissinger.
I did not bump my head. Can’t speak for any others here. But I can say I don’t recall him ever saying any of those things. I would have to research further before I could comment on this.

No, that is just what happens when you get into your late nineties.
I consider him more of a ‘sign of the times’ and an ‘icon of history’ more than straight good or bad. He did a lot of both.
He and Nixon are both that way, very flawed men in very complicated times.

I actually had his memoirs for years. Was never actually able to read them the whole way through. More than a thousand pages on each of his 3 volumes. And now I will never get one of them signed by him.
