Loved him, hated him, or as often is the case with truly great men: both, Henry has had something interesting to say about virtually everything in world affairs for more than 75 years. A remarkable run. Came out with his last book after age 100. And came within 6 months of reaching his golden anniversary with 2nd wife Nancy, 11 years his junior. Not bad for a real refugee whose family arrived here with nothing but their lives. Most of his family stayed in Germany and were slaughtered by Hitler. A young Henry went back by the end of the war, as an army translator and intelligence operator tracking down Gestopo, and earning a Bronze Star. And left us an inspired movie parody of him by Peter Sellers in Doctor Strangelove. Immigrants like him we want.

Nixon was lynched by the media, I learned to hate the media then.
I was a dumb kid back then, I cheered when the media lynched him. It took me several more years to learn to hate the media.
