CNN Host Stunned as Data Exposes Reality of ‘Bidenomics’: ‘Depressing’

A CNN host was left stunned when the network’s data analyst revealed data that highlighted the true state of the economy under Democrat President Joe Biden.

During a Friday report, CNN’s Erica Hill after data reporter Harry Enten laid out the economic numbers that expose the reality of so-called “Bidenomics.”

As Enten explained the figures and broke the bad news to CNN’s viewers, Hill remarked that Biden’s economy is “kind of depressing.”

Enten explained that, despite other economic metrics trending in positive directions, the decline in disposable income largely explains Americans’ bleak view of the economy.

“From the first year of a president’s term to now in a term, look at this,” he said.

“We’ve actually had negative growth.

“We have actually decreased the amount of disposable income we’ve had, 2.7% for the Biden administration.

“Look at that. The average for the president since JFK is plus 4.5 percent.

“And even in the last few months, the last six months, the growth that we’ve had — just 0.2 percent.

“The average six months since 1960 [is] 1.1 percent, so we’re even behind on that metric.”

After hearing Enten spell doom for the economy, Hill said:

“That’s kind of depressing.”

“It is kind of depressing,” Enten agreed.

“And the one last thing I’ll note — even wages here [are] not going up.

“Median wage: minus one [percent] since pre-pandemic, minus one [percent] since Biden’s first year.

“Since last quarter? Zero percent.

“Wages have been stagnant for a long time and it’s continuing to be so.”

Inflation has ticked down from its high of more than nine percent in 2022 but remains higher than the Fed’s target rate of two percent.

Prices for rent, groceries, and transportation remain high, data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis shows.

Total prices are up 17.2 percent since Biden took office in January 2021.

It would be curious to know who in the administration coined the phrase ‘Bidenomics’ and first explained it to Joe. I doubt that it was anyone connected to the Fed.

“Wages have been stagnant for a long time and it’s continuing to be so.”

And prices constantly go up.
I guess people can be happy when inflation is 2%.
But sometimes inflation is 7%.
Sometimes inflation is 10% or more.
A constant upward trend -- sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but always upward.

BUT ...

“Wages have been stagnant for a long time and it’s continuing to be so.”

No, no, no It’s because of the MAGA Republican Extremists in the House. The Dems will claim ‘MAGAnomics’ as the culprit for the bad economy. Calls for taking care of the American people are getting louder from the Left.
it’s never the fault of “Progressive” policies, you know.

We have tried to tell them the truth. They lambasted Trump, name calling, lies, belief in bs leaders on their side and now when reality comes home to roost they are stunned.

They are the very definition of ‘fools’.

I track one key price in the stores, the price of a 12 pack of Coke, Pepsi or Dr Pepper products. It encompasses several metrics, aluminum, paper, transportation. I know, simple but to me representative of the grocery shopping experience since you’re basically shipping bricks (Water in cans.).

When I moved in spring of 2021 the price without coupon, store discount etc. was $5.79 in the major local grocery store chains. It is now $8.99 in those same stores.

That is a 64% increase in less than 3 years.
