US political scientist John Mearsheimer on Israel’s ‘punishment campaign’ against the civilian population in Palestine. Israel has gone far beyond “going after Hamas” in the first 10 weeks of its war on Gaza, according to one of the United States’ leading political scientists, John Mearsheimer.

He tells host Steve Clemons that murdering hundreds of civilians daily and starving the rest is a “punishment campaign” and “should be unacceptable to decent people all over the world”.

In this episode, Mearsheimer, who teaches international relations at the University of Chicago, looks into Israel’s long-term strategies and explains why the elites in the US, Europe and the Arab world are not taking concrete steps to stop Israel’s bombing campaign.

The claims of “10,000 children” killed in Gaza is utterly preposterous, and Hamas has not presented any evidence whatsoever to support it. Yet the media and NGOs breathlessly repeat it.

I know you Israel maximalists hate facts but to put the current situation in context....

The battle of Mosul in 2016-2017 lasted 9 months. It was primarily led by the most ruthless and reckless forces to fight in the past 50 years. (Iraqi Shia, Peshmerga, etc...)

In those 9 months only 5000 civilians were killed.

In the past 2 months, our “closest ally” and the “most wonderful and peaceful country in the world” and the “only democracy in the Middle East” has killed over 10,000 civilians.

It is an absolute slaughter and will one day be viewed as one of the worst war crimes in history. I hope all of you cheerleaders will be able to live with yourselves.

Additionally, all of the people advocating NOT sending hundreds of millions of dollars to Ukraine so that their young men could be massacred, were proven right. They wanted to negotiate with Russia at the outset and the same GloboHomo deepstate warmongers who are cheerleading the slaughter in Gaza, talked them out of negotiations. All of that money and all of those lives were wasted. (I’m sure the money ended up in good hands though)
