Ours took an unfortunate turn towards leading in degeneracy.

I forget exactly the connection is, but I watched their channel daily for a while a few months ago.
Maybe it will come to me.
I think it is a religious connection to a big time cult, a Non Christian Religion that pushes reincarnation and other non Biblical beliefs.

Well, we thought everything had calmed down. So, we went to a restaurant to enjoy Hubs birthday dinner. Our food had barely completely come out when the manager came out and said, “We’ve just gotten word a riot is heading our way. Would you please move your motorcycles in here so we can lock the doors?”
To which we replied, “Could you wrap ours up and we’ll skedaddle?”
So, I hightailed it out while leaving the birthday boy to pay, grab the food, and follow me to our home.
I noted that everything was closing up as I headed away from downtown. But, we had no actual excitement. That is recommended.

I don’t know if anyone is rioting or not. Everyone is exhibiting a high tension and high vigilance. This may have been an excess of caution. We did not wait to find out.
Last January no one warned us and we had heard no rumors. We were caught up in a riot then and I took refuge in a local bank. The hubs and I were separate when the riot began. He checked on me to make sure I was safe and then he hightailed it outta there. Someone, with very bad aim, shot at him with an arrow, and another person threw a rock at him. The second person wasn’t strong and the rock did not connect. These events happened around us and we were caught up in it. But we were neither the target nor the instigator. It was not because of our religion, although religion is the reason we’re here in the first place.
The owner of the restaurant just contacted me to make sure we arrived home safely. She was very apologetic, which she needn’t be. Things happened outside of her control and her employees kept us safe.
