Donald Trump’s 2024 Vice President

Given the recent discussions about a potential Vice President pick by Donald Trump, several people have asked for my perspective.

Because I look at the office of the presidency slightly different than most, and specifically because the real challenge that needs to be addressed is located deep inside each institution of government, my perspective on the running mate is somewhat different than most.

The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.

Additionally, for the unique nature of the 2024 election, the VP pick technically becomes the 2028 MAGA candidate by default and general intention. Therefore, the selection of Trump’s running mate holds a greater weight of importance given the single term objective.

The primary factor of President Trump’s pick for VP should be, who will be the 2028 nominee.

Prior to President Trump’s first term in office, traditionally the role of the Vice-President, the actual tasks they are assigned to carry out, were generally ceremonial in nature. However, President Trump approached the VP role differently, and gave substantive policy initiatives to Vice President Mike Pence. [Pence proved he was not a good executive]

It should also be remembered that another unique aspect to President Trump’s term was his control over every of aspect of economic policy and trade. This level of economic focus, with controls completely retained by President Trump, was then used as a mechanism to influence President Trump’s foreign policy.

As stated by several Trump economic officials when describing the Trump doctrine, “economic security is national security.” The America-First outlook was a domestic economic focus, used as a lever to influence foreign policy activity.

As a consequence, the President Trump economic team was extremely stable throughout his term. USTR Robert Lighthizer, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, CEA Chairman Larry Kudlow and Trade/Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro all worked in close coordination on their specific assignments that were instructions from President Trump.

Under the 14th Amendment’s Naturalization Clause and the Supreme Court case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 US. 649, anyone born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction is a natural born citizen, regardless of parental citizenship. This type of citizenship is referred to as birthright citizenship.

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch.

Speaks well in front of TV cameras, knows where the bodies are buried, young, knows The Swamp, very fit—fills out a shirt, great hair.

May neuter the contempt of the dreaded Suburban Women.

Either MD would be my second choice.

Successful though Noem may be as governor, it’s worth keeping in mind that South Dakota is an even redder state than Florida. Both the upper and lower legislative houses of South Dakota have a 90% Republican majority. The assumption that a successful governor of a deep red state automatically has what it takes to be successful in the highly partisan Washington environment, should be tempered with some skepticism.

Assuming Trump wins in 2024, would someone like Ben Carson be a good successor to him in 2028? It depends on the state of the country at the time. If the pace of reform in Trump’s 2nd term is swift and he’s able to hand over a thoroughly reformed and largely honest government to whoever succeeds him, then yes. On the other hand, if the process of reform is incomplete and a candidate who can finish the job is needed, then I have my doubts about someone like Carson. Though he’s decent and honest, I don’t believe he has the temperament to deal with the ruthless adversaries who now infiltrate our government.

Whoever Trump picks, it better not be a Bu$h league/neocon type. The deep state could then assassinate Trump (if he overcomes massive voter fraud) and get this country into the Ukraine war via the RINO quisling VP.

FOS. There is a “natural born citizen” clause in the constitution for a reason regarding the presidency. Wong addressed citizenship, not the question of natural born citizen.

2024 isn’t like past elections. We are in the middle of an epic battle to save the Republic from corruption and tyranny - and 2024 may be our last chance.

If the Republic is to survive, President Trump must win in 2024 and to win it he has to make enough voters understand the dire straights we’re are in. He has to sell the MAGA Movement (which should really be the America First Movement IMHO).

Whoever he picks for VP, there should not be one sliver of daylight between them when it comes to destroying the deep state and putting America First. His running mate needs to be every bit as passionate about putting America First, every bit as angry about the stolen elections, and every bit as ruthless when it comes to rooting out the Deep State.

Imagine President Trump picks a running mate who is great in most ways, but who hems and haws when asked if the 2020 election was stolen. That would be a disaster… same with building a wall. …same with drill baby drill. ..same with forever wars. …same with America first in trade. …same with “lock her up”.

He needs to pick someone who genuinely agrees with him on everything right down to his mean tweets and childish nicknames.

I say Keri Lake. She is all of those things and more.

Do not pick a woman unless it’s Kari lake. Otherwise a man who has proved himself to be well received and known loyalty.

My wish list would have Stephen Miller (as co-president with Trump).

He would take a wrecking ball to the District of Congo and the Administrative State. He would create a new post at the Justice Department and appoint Steven K Bannon as Grand Chief Inquisitor with all the powers of the court.

There is a very big reason the Deep State (Lizard Cheney) fears Trump. In 2025, he is going to unleash hell.
