A diversity chief at Johns Hopkins Medicine sent a “monthly diversity digest” email to staff with a letter that declared all white people, Christians, and men as “privileged.”
Dr. Sherita Hill Golden, chief diversity officer for the hospital system, also included “heterosexuals” and English speakers in the “privileged” category in her missive to all staff.
Under a section titled “Diversity is the word of the Month,” Golden defined privilege as “a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group” that operates on “personal, interpersonal, cultural and institutional levels.”
She provided a list of privileged social groups, which included: white people, able-bodied people, heterosexuals, cisgender people, males, Christians, Middle or owning class people, middle-aged people and English-speaking people.

Who has more privilege than a diversity hire?
Who has more privilege than a “protected class”?
A white person can be ostracized from speaking a single word to that cow.
Not so much the other way round. Who is privileged?

Is she not able-bodied and English speaking? Sounds like 99.99% of people in the US are “privileged” according to her, making the distinction meaninless.
I would tell that hag this—no one gave me squat, I grew up with nothing, raised by wolves, learned by observing, wouldn’t dream of having friends over to my dysfunctional house when I was a kid, had a dad who worked sporadically and a mom that was nutty, worked hard in school, paid my own way starving and working through college and law school, then became a JAG officer, managed not to get arrested or pregnant, ate on a strict budget, took grey hound buses, didn’t fly on a plane until I was reporting to Richmond Virginia for military duty, and she can take a long walk off a short pier.
She offered an retraction ammitted she use a poor choice of words, she wanted to convey a message of inclusion she said but had the opposite affect, she clearly does not have the judgement to be in the position she’s in and obviously John Hopkins has no oversight over her.
Seems like ‘hate speech’ against straight, white, Christian, males to me.
I’m wondering about all those hard working, overly smart yellow skinned rascals that seem to have a even higher IQ then whitey.. Are THEY considered “privileged” as well.?
Anyone can convert to Christianity or learn English. The vast majority of people will enjoy a few decades of ‘middle-age.’ Privilege can be had by all!
Who would benefit most if our companies, colleges, government organizations and country were staffed at the top by incompetent corrupt people? (that's a hint about who's really behind this insanity)

How does this woman pretend to know that “benefits” for the people she wants to discriminate against are “unearned”? Has she entertained and disproven the idea that some portion of the hated groups might actually earn their way through talent, brains, hard work, self-control, self-denial, foresight, etc.? She seems to be making offensive assertions based on racial and gender grounds with zero to back them up.
What are the recipients of her message supposed to do with her pronouncement? Give substandard care to patients from the hated groups? Refuse to treat them or delay their appointment for spite? Put less qualified employees in charge of critical jobs based on their group identities rather than their merit and qualifications?
Malpractice and employment lawyers: get ready to feast; she’s handed you the evidence and you just need to find the people she/Johns Hopkins have harmed.
