Nothing makes me cringe more than when a politician who has obviously engaged in immoral acts starts using God as a prop to defend their behavior.

A valid point, but I don't know if there is anything that makes me cringe more than a so-called Church surrendering its pulpit - On the LORD's Day - to a person who is going to talk about herself and politics.
The focus needs to be on Jesus Christ alone. This is not a church, and this was not an honorable person speaking within its walls.
