COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina is expected to endorse former President Donald Trump ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, a blow to his fellow South Carolinian Nikki Haley, the former U.N. ambassador.
A person familiar with Scott’s plans confirmed Friday to The Associated Press that Scott was expected to travel from Florida to New Hampshire with the GOP front-runner. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity due to not being allowed to discuss the plans publicly. The endorsement was first reported by The New York Times.

Scott would make for a pretty good VP, too!
Good for Tim Scott.
Tim Scott is a McConnell acolyte.
Donald Trump knows this.
VP-no. Too nice. Not a fighter. He’ll just act like the gentleman Pence.
3 histories-all failed:
1) Bush ‘41. Wanted the #1 job and only lost it.
2) Dan Quayle. Decent, good looking but not ready for prime time.
3) Dick Cheney. No upper ambition. That was smart.
A crown prince? Not Scott. DeSantis will have to do it on his own. It’s better that way. HHH was tied to Johnson(failed loser). Nixon-people were tired of him. Vivek-nice try but do something else first.
My choice-a good complement with no upper ambition: John Kennedy-La.
Why, because he’s black?
List his conservative accomplishments.
It’s time for all conservatives and anyone registered Republican to get behind Trump.
This isn’t going to be easy with the corrupt government and the corrupt media and the corrupted education system and the corrupted state ballot laws.
Bravo!
Rand Paul would be the ultimate Milei clone. POTUS-in-waiting while Argentina thrives. I really don’t like him that much but he’s more in tune with Trump’s deep state-no wars positions.
Now you’re talking!!!
If he were gay or if he would be willing to have his penis removed and wear women’s clothe... Trump would win with 99% of the vote.
Get him a wheelchair too.
That's a good thing, but far from the only thing needed to establish a conservative reputation.
Our side attempting to play identity politics is the end.
