IMO NASCAR is charging in the same direction. It’s only a matter of time.
They promoted Danica Patrick, who couldn't win a race if she was the only driver, just to get television viewers who weren't auto racing fans to start with.
They tried to ban Confederate flags at events because they wanted to sell television to ignorant leftists.
NOOSECAR stopped publishing fan attendance in 2012 because of the sharp decline. The venues have been reducing seating for years to make it less obvious. Daytona, for example, was reduced by 58,000 seats. 58 thousand - that's a lot for venue that's a track that been a focal center since the beginning.

Agree - and it is sad ro see this happen.
Prior to a few years ago my family hardly ever missed a televised NASCAR race.
Now we haven't watched one in at least 3 years because or their increasing WOKE-ness.
Having that crap shoved at us in just about everything we do is just as bad as what we have (and are) going through with racial preferences and reverse racial discrimination.
Any enterprise that goes WOKE will never make another cent from me!
