Unless it is a reserved power of the feds, the feds operate at the pleasure of the state within the state.
That’s apparently not the considered position of Traitor Roberts.
The Feds have shown themselves to be cavalier in the use of lawfare and in the complete disregard of laws and judicial decisions they do not like.
So Biden can ignore Supreme Court rulings but don’t dare disobey his commands????
Most liberals interpret the Supremacy Clause as giving the Federal government the supreme legislative authority. My understanding of the Supremacy Clause is that the Federal government is only supreme in its use of the 18 reserved powers of the federal government. All other powers on the books and in conception is where the state is supreme.

If Dems can name the J6 protests an insurrection in an attempt to trigger the insurrection clause, TX Gov. Abbott can name the illegal immigration an invasion to enable TX to defend their borders.

U S. Constitution, Section 10; the actual text of the pertinent portion:
“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”
So I guess legality here all comes down to how one interprets “invaded”.
