Texas has continued to defy President Joe Biden on the border issue and is offering cash for Texas Military Department members to man the border.
The Lone Star State is seeking "to deploy border security assets to high threat areas to deny criminal organizations the ability to illegally move drugs and people into Texas," according to TMD's website.
This comes amid ongoing tensions between Governor Greg Abbott and the Biden administration over the border with Mexico. On Monday, the Supreme Court sided with the Biden administration and held that federal Border Patrol agents were authorized to remove the razor wire installed under Abbott's orders near the border city of Eagle Pass.
Volunteers will work with the Texas Military Department full-time for up to $55 per day, according to the agency's website.
The volunteers must already be members of the TMD in an initiative that is part of Abbott's Operation Lone Star to combat the rise in illegal immigration.
The call for more volunteers is part of a showdown between the state and the Biden administration over the issue of the border.
The Biden administration has argued the wire, installed as part of Operation Lone Star, restricts Border Patrol agents from accessing parts of the border. Abbott, meanwhile, has slammed "Biden's reckless open-border policies," and tweeted after the Supreme Court's decision that the wire is an "effective deterrent against the illegal border crossings."
In apparent defiance of the court's decision, he said: "We continue to deploy this razor wire to repel illegal immigration."

First of all the court didn’t say what Texas could or could not do, it just said BP could cut the wire to perform their duties.
I stand with Abbott. He’s actually following the law.
That perversion of what is really going on drives me crazy. Biden is blatantly defying the constitution and violating his constitutional duty. Texas and other states are trying to force that rotten bastard Biden to do his oath of office.

The "wire" is a ridiculous red herring. It is a minuscule and inconsequential issue. The real issue is Biden letting EIGHT MILLION illegals invade the USA in three short years.

(a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts
Any alien who
(1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
(3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.
The “shall” means that Joe Biden cannot unilaterally NOT enforce this law. He has given explicit instructions to DHS and the CBP to ignore this law. That is an impeachable offense.
On another related note, I think Greg Abbott should use the Texas Guard and the Texas Rangers to arrest any Federal Government employee who interferes with Texas Guard personnel securing the border. Charge them under Texas law.

Again, men all over the great state of Tennessee took up arms to aid the Texans in their revolution against the Mexican Army. One such man was the legendary David “Davy” Crockett, a soldier and congressman from Greene County in East Tennessee.
Crockett is the personification of the Volunteer name. So much so, he was the inspiration for the logo Tennessee athletics adopted in 1983. Like so many men who fought in that Texas campaign, Crockett paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to the cause. He died at the Alamo March 6, 1836, and he and six of his men stood to the last until being shot while surrounded.

Shut down D.C. with illegal migrants. Bury it. Focus the suffering; trap it where the power brokers live. Make them so miserable that they scream for respite from the refugee camp their city has become.
Maybe then we’ll see some change.
What we know is that the ruling class, the out-of-touch, insufferable elite who populate that place, won’t stop inflicting pain until it’s inflicted on them. And not enough is getting to them. So bring it right to their doorstep.
