NEW YORK -- Within days, Donald Trump could potentially have his sprawling real estate business empire ordered “dissolved” for repeated misrepresentations on financial statements to lenders, adding him to a short list of scam marketers, con artists and others who have been hit with the ultimate punishment for violating New York’s powerful anti-fraud law.
An Associated Press analysis of nearly 70 years of civil cases under the law showed that such a penalty has only been imposed a dozen previous times, and Trump’s case stands apart in a significant way: It’s the only big business found that was threatened with a shutdown without a showing of obvious victims and major losses.

It’s the proverbial shot across the bow to anyone else thinking of running against the State. It’s their way of saying we decide who’s in the club and we decide who runs the country. Challenge that reality and this is what happens to you. Very few people can or will run against that. Good people can’t afford to have their lives and those of their families and friends destroyed like this.
If this stops Trump, fine, but it aimed at much more than just him.

One day, not too distant, we may be hoping that China or Russia or Iran or the cartels…anyone…take this land out of its misery.
Trump is a good and decent man. If I were a multibillionaire, I’d buy insane amounts of bitcoin, cash and gold. And right as my private jet touched down in Russia or maybe the Emirates or Vietnam where I would enjoy my last ten years of life on this mortal coil, a wave of highly paid hitmen would unleash their revenge on a list of these deserving people who had so much fun.
But that’s just me. And I’m broke. Ergo, President Trump is obviously a decent man.
*PS.. my jet -would- land in one of those places. But I would actually quietly arrive somewhere like Bariloche Argentina in a boring King Air, and then quietly live in a comfortable but modest house about 10 miles outside of town. A culture of Germans hiding from the past, and the famous Argentine beef.
