Nikki Haley is on the warpath. Haley wants to blow up the mullahs in Iran like Soleimani. Take them out with a missile strike.

Is this verified that she actually thinks this is sound strategy or simply that she's being paid off by defense contractors?

Once assassination is official government policy there is no basis to complain when others assassinate our leaders.

Besides which, it is completely undiplomatic which she should know as former UN Ambassador. You don’t speak like that in diplomacy, not even in full on war. Biden’s policies are folly but at least his lackeys speak diplomatically. Trump’s policies are much better and even he hews to the “speak softly and carry a big stick” axiom.
I think we have Jimmy Carter to “thank” for that. He said it was immoral to assassinate a leader. Somehow it’s more moral to get rid of evil dictators by going to war and killings tens of thousands.

The US is currently a net petroleum exporter.
Under those conditions a petroleum reserve is useful to have some control of international prices, but not so much as a buffer vs local shortages.
Agreed that Carter is a joke—assassination is of course perfectly moral—the problem is a practical one—no leaders like to see it as the first choice of an adversary in time of war or even minor conflict.
It creates a “world order” where everybody is taking potshots at everybody else’s leaders.
As just one example this is how World War I got started.
Nimrata was never a Hindu. She was born to Sikh parents. Sikhism is different religion than Hinduism. Just like Judaism is different from Christianity.
AFAIK, Nimrata converted to Christianity when she married a Christian man.
